Lucky Bay Kalbarri is one of my favorite places to spend a weekend. Its about a 5.5 hour drive north of Perth, just south of Kalbarri. The location is great fun for snorkeling, boating, jet skiing, motorbike riding, four wheel driving, kite surfing, water skiing, camping and relaxing. There aren’t many places where you can do that, and there are no camping fee’s! If you haven’t been to Lucky Bay, now is your chance!
Hi,
I’ve got a 07 Navara, pretty much stock, I put some rubber on it and a snorkel but my concern is that it’s got the standard suspension and a decent bar on the front which has dragged it down a couple of inches. I’ll be towing a bike trailer with 3 bikes on it with our camping gear on the car, will i find any issues getting into Lucky Bay? I’ve not been up that way before but have read pleanty and it looks amazing! I’ve got a decent compressor so it’s no dramas with tyre pressures.
Any thought’s would be appreciated
Hi Ben,
The Navara’s are a great vehicle, and with the right tyre pressures you won’t have any issues. Remember to let the trailer tyres down too, and you will walk in and out. I saw a WRX drive in and out, unassisted one time we were up there!
It is an incredible place!

Beautiful, thanks for the info Aaron, cheers 🙂 looking forward to it, and if we can’t really ride, well then it’ll just have to be more fishing!
G’day Ben,
There is plenty of coastline to fish and enjoy!
