A 4×4 water crossing can be a lot of fun, but they are also potentially dangerous if you aren’t careful. You should turn your car off for a few minutes beforehand to allow the engine and driveline to cool down. You should also spray silicon onto any electrical components, and be very wary of the air filter positioning. If you don’t have a snorkel, anything over 70cm can be very dangerous. If your car swallows water, you will ruin the engine and have to spend several thousand getting a new one put in. The Mundaring Powerlines Track as above has a huge number of these crossings. If they are as deep as shown you would be silly trying to cross them without a snorkel.
