In order to make the ride more comfortable, preserve your tyres and look after the track, you should be letting your tyres down the moment you get off the bitumen road.
For short distances you can get away without deflating your tyres on gravel, but if you are going to be on it for long you should be adjusting the pressures, or you risk getting a puncture
Such good advice Aaron. We’d think about doing that in heavy sand, but not immediately when off the bitumen.
